HIGHLIGHTS

Cope & Associates and the Lake Champlain Regional Chamber of Commerce recently co-hosted the 2008 Succession Planning & Management Symposium. Their goal was to evaluate the region's awareness of the increased need for succession planning so that all organizations have the opportunity to plan for perpetuation.

Results of Succession Planning Readiness Survey

The event was a great success with over 100 business owners, senior leaders, CEO's, and human resource professionals in attendance. A diverse group of speakers shared their professional experience and real-world stories by offering practical advice in workshop sessions throughout the day.

Symposium Agenda & Speakers

COPE has developed a systems approach to succession planning, expanding the traditional view beyond replacement planning, to include the entire organization with the goal of finding and exploiting all available opportunities to build value at all levels in an organization.
