Harassment Investigation & Training

Complaints of harassment, discrimination or other major violations of organizational policy are an enormous challenge for any organization.  Such complaints can lead to costly litigation, damaged morale and relations among staff, a disruption of operations, and a waste of valuable time and resources.

COPE assists employers in these instances by conducting a detailed investigation.  These investigations are a critical step in limiting organizational liability and provides the factual framework to take appropriate corrective action. 

Organizations often do not have the subject matter expertise or time available to conduct a thorough workplace investigation on their own.  Bringing in a third party to conduct the investigation provides greater objectivity as no prior relationships or biases exist with the parties involved. 

When called upon, COPE reviews all relevant documents and evidence, interviews witnesses, and provides a comprehensive report of factual findings for the organization.  We can assist you and your legal counsel in drawing conclusions and making recommendations for appropriate corrective action.
