EXECUTIVE COACHING

The goal of coaching is to learn new behaviors through discussion, reflection, and practice.

Unlike training, which is event-oriented and geared toward skills development, coaching is intended for people who need to develop individual self-sustained growth, skills, and learning at a fairly deep level. Coaching requires a more serious commitment than attending a training program. It is a multi-session process with challenging discussion and assignments.  These typically include reflecting on insights gained, feedback, and advice received; consulting with colleagues and stakeholders; studying information provided; and practicing new behaviors. Occasionally, journaling or other tools are used to foster self-reflection and personal development.
