In order to achieve the best outcome from training, you first need to fully understand the needs of your organization and its people.

Sometimes a training need seems clear; however, an incorrectly identified problem may lead you to an ineffectual solution.  As employees accept new tasks, adapt to process changes, plan for professional development, and achieve promotions, they often find their old skill sets are not growing with them.  Correctly assessing skill levels, individual talents, and learning styles is critical to delivering the most appropriate training using the most effective methods.
